Sushi

Coray has learned how to make his own sushi and he is pretty good at it if I do say so myself. The asian market we go to is a little out of my league. I refuse to buy the roe and even the eel is hard to buy. Sometimes it is better to not know what you are eating. The kids are sticking to the fruit by the foot/ rice krispy treat/ swedish fish variety of sushi. Except Sarah who will eat anything. She likes the real stuff.

Indoor Football

So Jonathan was asked to be on this indoor football team which he was excited about. He lives for football. The first day of practice he came home with whiplash from a brilliant tackling drill. Last night he came home with these bruises. He practices on both Friday and Saturday nights and late on Wednesday night. He either needs to go pro and make me millions or he needs to take up swimming.

Science Fair

Jonathan (and Coray) built a wind turbine for his science fair project. He won first place at Westfield and now gets to go down to Pleasant Grove for a district competition. Yea for Jonathan. Doesn't he look thrilled with his victory?

Happy Siblings

At least two of my kids get along really well. They love each other. Will is so good to play with Sarah even if it means playing babies for a really long time. Sarah doesn't know how lucky she is.

Sledding

We spent a lot of time sledding over the Christmas break. We went to Soldier Hollow twice, Sugarhouse park twice, Timp Lodge, and Highland Hills. Very fun. Sarah gets cold too quickly since she sits in the sled and lets everyone else pull her up the hill. She loves it while she lasts.

Christmas Nativity

This is our annual Christensen family nativity. When we asked Sarah what role she wanted to play she said a witch. We obviously needed to do better family home evenings leading up to Christmas. She settled on being an angel.

Hit's okay

Notice that she is fully clothed. She did take her shoes off eventually. When she saw my face as I walked into the bathroom she said, "Hit's okay. I not splashing." Love her.
